Alberta Innovates nanoWorks Program
The nanoWorks program is an initiative of the Government of Alberta. It has been established to solve business problems by utilizing Alberta’s micro-nano-technology (MNT) infrastructure and resources. The nanoWorks program funds products development partnerships that demonstrate reasonable time to market (in the majority of cases not longer than five (5) years) for new and novel MNT products.
The program is managed by Alberta Innovates – Technology Futures and guided by a Steering Committee comprised of members representing key public and private stakeholders with global perspectives on Alberta’s nanotechnology landscape.
The goal behind the nanoWorks program is to stimulate the establishment of industry-driven solution-oriented partnerships, which include industry, academia and research institutions to facilitate the adaptation of product driven technologies, processes and knowledge related to nanotechnology by Alberta’s industries.
